UC Berkeley

My first time in the States was a summer coding camp at Berkeley in 2019, when I was twelve. What stuck was not the curriculum — it was how kind and encouraging the teachers and other kids were, a world away from the sterner classrooms I grew up with. I decided more or less on the spot that this was where I wanted to end up.

Seven years later, it worked out. I start at Cal in Fall 2026 in the College of Letters & Science, headed toward philosophy and business.

Outside class: chess, piano, and the bouldering gym two minutes from my apartment.
